Serim recently completed an evaluation of product use in cart washers when using an Instrument cycle. This testing shows that PINNACLE AEC responds to all factors of the cleaning process and can be used to verify the cleaning process in cart washers when using an enzymatic detergent. This evaluation included testing a non-instrument cycle using a non-enzymatic detergent and “failed” instrument cycle. This evaluation showed that an enzymatic detergent, along with optimal mechanical aspects of the cleaning process (time, temperature, mechanical action) are required to see PASS results.
